Q: Does this work with a tonue cover
4 years agoA: I have a 4 section Bakflip cover on my Tacoma, it does not work with it. Not sure if it works with any bed covers.

Q: Is the rack height adjustable? I want to haul a canoe with the bow clearing the roof of my cab.

Q: will this fit inside a 4 x 7 or 5 x 7 utility trailer that Canadian Tire sells?
2 years agoA: I have it installed on a ford sportrac. The box is 50” wide at the rails and it fits no problem but I do not know how it will fit on a trailer

3 years agoA: Hi there, This rack has adjustable cross bars and will fit truck boxes that are 50"-70" wide. It would depend on the width of your canoes to be exact. Our rule of thumb is that the max width of the truck box is the best size to use. Thank you!

Q: Is that 500lbs driving weight capacity or overall capacity while stationary?
4 years agoA: I believe that is stationary. But with an added support between sets you could put that on while moving over rough ground. I added 2 metal bars. One each side to help .

Q: Does this rack work with a tonneau cover?
6 years agoA: You can find tonneau cover brackets online, typically as an accessory to BackRack products. It basically attaches where this rack would, then slides around the cover and acts as a new base with which to attach your rack, while the tonneau cover slides underneath/in-between.

Q: Would this work for a roof tent mount? (Weight capacity is ok, 2 people at 160lbs, tent weighs 120)
3 years agoA: Hi there, Thank you for reaching out! That is quite a heavy tent, however the combined weight mentioned is 440lbs and the rack is rated at 500lbs. Would you be placing a support board on the cross bars to secure the tent to? We recommend a piece of plywood at least 2" thick should be used to support the weight mentioned when putting a tent up.
