Q: Can I put these around my wood-burning fireplace? I found on-line that someone put Eco Slate tiles around their electric fireplace (see photo). I wondered if I can safely put them around my wood-burning fireplace? The packaging only reads "resistant to heat" so it leaves me unsure.

A: Not knowing the exact distance from the heat and the amount of heat it's hard to say for sure. With these unknowns I would not recommend this as the adhesive that holds the tiles could become loose.

Q: how many in package? how big is each tile?

A: There are 32 tiles in each box. Each tile is 74mm x 148mm and 5 mm thick. One package covers 0.35m2 (3.77ft2)
