A: Hello Amanda, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 vacuum does feature a spinning brush bar, which can gather hair as it's vacuumed from your floors/furniture. We do recommend regular maintenance on your machine including removal of hair from the brush bar, to prevent it from tangling or burning out the brush bar motor. Our Animal model upright and canister machines will include our tangle-free turbine tool which is a tool designed for picking up pet hair, (human hair, too), without tangling. That tool is available for purchase separately, and would attach to the Ball Multi Floor 2 machine. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
