Huge, Heavy, but quiet and comes with bad scope

I bought this air rifle this week from a local Canadian Tire store in Vancouver, BC. It is huge and surprisingly heavy for an air rifle. I mounted the scope and started shooting with Crosman 0.177 Destroyer pellets. The initial recoils were quite significant,... surprised again. It definitely has a kick and it does not like artillery hold. Firm hold against the shoulder produced better groupings. The scope was weird. It simply refused to stay zeroed and required a screw driver or a coin to make adjustments. I thought things would settle down after 10~20 shots. but it didn't. So, I ended up swapping out the scope with an old one I had from years ago and things got better. I really enjoy the low/quieter sound when it fires, and I got used to its recoil. I wish there were open sights on these rifles so that we could also have fun shooting them old-school without the scope. Accuracy is a work in progress. It gives me 4-inch groupings at 20~25 yards. Hopefully, accuracy will improve as I get used to the rifle. For the price point, I am still happy with it. It looks huge so I think it's worth the money! LOL.

Good morning,
These guns have a break in period of 100-150 pellets being shot through it. Try using a couple different pellets, your grouping may get better, the LHP77 and the LUM77 pellets are good pellets to try. You can call the gravel agency about the scope, and they can replace it Gravel agency phone number is 866-662-4869.
I hope this helps.
Have a great day

inconsistent fire

purchased this lower powered air rifle for the yard. the scope adjustments were dubious at best. I had 5 misfires in a row. what I mean by that is the piston fired but my pellet did not leave the chamber. other than the kids scoring this a 10 on the hard-core looks field it was a complete failure. I would say if it at least fired consistently I would work with it. it was on promotion so I had to try it. I hope they will accept a return of this faulty product.

No, I do not recommend this product.
