Decent tent if it doesn't rain

Bought it and tested it this weekend. Fairly easy to set up with my 8 year old son holding it in the middle. Was a little tough in that it was so windy but easier when I opened the windows to let some air through. Just after setting it up, a light rainshower passed and there was some drops of water along the front door. Tested again later with a hose and same thing.. returning it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

After you set this tent up once, it gets pretty easy and quick to do. And then after that its a great tent, only used it a couple of times, but love it so far.

I normally buy my tents at MEC but the closest one is 2hrs from my house and I needed a large tent for a trip last weekend. Me and one other person set this monster up in about 5 minutes without using the directions. and it was huge. Normally when a tent says 8 man your lucky to get 4 or 5 in but this tent could sleep 8 with all their gear in comfort. While we were out we experienced very heavy rain all weekend and high winds but this tent kept us dry all night. There was room for 3 lawn chairs in the vestibule. Only complaint is that when i got home none of the rooms in my house were big enough to dry it out.

Great large tent

This tent has been redesigned. It has a large D door not the O door that is pictured online. The tent is very large. I'm 6'3 tall and I can stand without hitting the roof. We used it through 1.5 days of rain and it was 100% water proof. Construction looks good and the zipper on the D door opens and closes well.
The only con is that the fly has to be pinned into the ground in the front (not ideal on hard surfaces where the pegs won't go into the ground well). Other than that it is a great large tent.

Q: What shape is the tent? I understand the tent is a "dome" shape... but since I can't see what it looks like from an aerial view, I'm wondering if it's in the shape of a rectangle or a hexagone, or if it's longer on one side than another...? Can anybody help?
