Great table for camping

We originally bought a plastic table and regretted it as it fell apart quickly. This table is VERY heavy but it is sturdy and works perfect for a table outside. We leave it outside and it has gotten wet and I've had no problem with it bubbling on the edges. The other reviewer must have had a faulty table. If worried about use a small bead of caulking around the edge and it'll be totally waterproof. It's easy to get set up and put away and I love how the chairs fit inside. Got it on sale and it was totally worth it!

Not for outdoor use?????

Bought this table for May long weekend camping trip.
Left if outside overnight, it rained a little - more like a light mist, and the next day I noticed the table surface had swollen along the edges. Looks like this table is made from glued sawdust - not meant to get wet... but yet it's a table you're supposed to use when you're camping... outside!
I would imagine the same thing would happen if you spilled something on it and didn't wipe it off immediately.
Brought it back today, exchanged it for a foldable plastic table which I know won't swell up if it gets wet...
No, I do not recommend this product.

Read some reviews that weren't that great. But this was something we wanted. Tried it and although it wasn't aqll that sturdy, it did the job and we were happy with it.

This could've been great.

We tried it out in the store. The set isn't light, but the stools were sturdy enough to hold our weight, and we are not little people. Problem is that every table in the store had dents, or major scratches in them. We actually had one out the door, before we noticed the scratches. For the price, they are not worth it... unless you don't care how it looks. The stools were good.

Easy and Portable

Was sceptical on the reviews before buying this but still got it anyways to try it out, the table top is some sort of plastic plexy that isn't supported for heavy weights but will hold enough for basic use. Its portability is easy to take out and just as easy to put it back in. Chairs are more comfortable than I thought.
Only thing I could ask more is the table top sturdiness/strength.

A: No it's not, if it gets wet along the edges, it will swell like mine did - left it outside overnight, rained a bit, swelled along the edges. Returned it and bought a plastic table instead. Why make a camping table that cannot withstand the conditions you will encounter outside!
