Q: My machine won’t auto purge water from reservoir? What could be the problem
a year agoA: Do you mean from the drip tray below of the fresh water reservoir? The lower one must be drained and cleaned manually. Hope that helps...

10 years agoA: No this machine does not grind the beans. a separate grinder is needed. the more expensive breville machines do have built in grinders.

10 years agoA: no. they cannot. however there is a insert that comes with the machine to use coffee pods.

Q: Can this machine make two cups of espresso at a time?
6 years agoA: As there are two spouts on the porta filter, yes two individual streams of espresso can be extracted into two individual shot glasses. milk frothed all together and you will have two drinks in the same process as making one.

Q: Is the boiler stainless steel or aluminum? I had another brand of espresso maker with an aluminum boiler, which started to corrode after 2 years.
8 years agoA: The Duo-Temp Pro (model BES810BSS) has a heating system with a metal block with a stainless steel path therefore there is no contact with aluminum and it will not corrode. Also, the unit comes with a one year warranty and the after sales service is excellent.
