Very versitile tool

Do you need a drill? This tool covers that. Do you need a sander? This tool can do that. Do you need a saw? this tool can be that also. As you can tell it can do many jobs since it is convertible to many tools. It is built well and easy to convert. I like it so much I bought two of them.

Comes with everything you need. So handy. I got this last week and have used it a lot on my small projects as well as the original purpose which was to put together a table. So many additional pieces too. Easy to use and does the job!

GREAT little drill for the average handyman around the home. It's not a heavy duty cordless model to take on the job with you, but for the average 'Joe' or "Josephine' working around the house on odd jobs it's perfect. Know mine has come in VERY handy.

my 1987 MAKITA 9.6 out performs Matrix 20V

As handy man I use my cordless tools almost everyday. My MAKITA 9.6 was purchased in 1987 and out performs this Matrix 20V. The Matrix torque is less, battery life under load about the same, maybe, for sure not more. The real problem is the Matrix battery takes more then five hours to recharge. Makita 9.6 charges from empty to full in one hour. Hence with just two batteries you can work like you are using a corded drill without the cord. Is that not the point of a cordless tool? Guess what, Makita is not going to retire today, but Matrix is getting its walking papers back to the store. You’re Fried Matrix!

A: The 50pc’s are made up of an assorted selection of Std. slot, Phillips, Square and Torx screwdriver bits + a bit holder extension. No drill bits are included in the assortment.

Q: will the battery from this drill fit my B & D LST400 grass trimmer? if not, which drill should I buy?

A: The 54-2821 is not a 4Ah Li Extended run battery, it is a 1.5Ah Li battery. Would still work but runtime would be much lower & end-user may not be satisfied with performance. However, Canadian Tire carries the 60-2299 String trimmer which comes with 2 – 20V Li batteries rated at 2.0Ah, the replacement (1) battery for this sku is #60-2335. It looks as though you purchased the 4.0Ah version elsewhere as Canadian Tire does not carry the 4.0Ah model LST400, we carry the LST 420 / 60-2299 as mentioned above.

Q: Does this model have a feature similar to Hammer Drill on DeWalt or other brands? If not, which Black & Decker drill has?

A: You would add the Matrix hammer drill head to 54-1342 give it a similar function/features as other hammer drills. The product number for that is 54-3180.

A: There is no case that comes with this kit. The kit contains 1 – Drill / driver, 1 – 20V battery, 1-charger & 50 accessories that held in place by “bit bars"
