The Bernzomatic® 14.1 oz Propane Hand Torch Cylinder is a portable, convenient way to fuel your hand torch. Constructed of durable steel, the slim, lightweight cylinder is easy to grip and maneuver as you work. This product is compatible with our Digital Fuel Gauge to easily measure how much fuel is remaining in the cylinder. Propane fuel has an in-air flame temperature of 3,600 degrees Fahrenheit.

nice to have a portable propane cylinder for my torch, good hot flame I used it to soften and bend ridge cap shingles in the cold weather, also for soldering copper pipe connections

It's a gas!

Compressed butane in a bottle - just what was needed to solder (no lead type) a new copper pipe on my hot water intake. The 40 year old inlet pipe developed a pinhole leak and a section had to be cut put and replaced. Existing pipes still have some water, so you need enough heat to boil off the remaining water, even though the pipe was drained. This bottle of propane was more than adequate for the job.

Q: Weight of empty 400g Mastercraft propane cylinder? Can this be recycled? How store when full?

A: Thanks for reaching out! The empty cylinder is 452g. This product cannot be recycled and it is recommended you contact local waste management for disposal. When this product is full, you can store it in any location that is not in direct sunlight or above 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
