A complete Dud

We chose these glass jars with lids to store food in the fridge and freezer. The lids don’t snap on properly and don’t stay on . I cannot think why anyone would buy them. It’s too far to be bothered to go back and return them . Anchor Hawking is usually excellent for food storage. Who would sell a lidded food storage container whose lids simply fall off? This product is a dud.

Lids don’t fit

The size of these storage jars was exactly what I was looking for. They are made of durable glass. The lids, however are very flimsy and do not snap on tightly. As a result useless for freezer or fridge storage. I found this info among the packaging but not till I had Picked the set up.

A: The 6oz Tempered Glass Custard Cups/Prep Bowls in this value pack are ovenproof and may be utilized in gas and electric ovens up to 425F or microwave ovens without browning element. Not for stovetop, broiler or toaster oven use. The Plastic Food Storage Lids included are not intended for conventional oven, stovetop, broiler or toaster oven usage.
