Good at absorbing odours

I have been buying this product for years. It works well in absorbing unpleasant odours. Although it doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals the container should be kept out of reach of children and pets.

I've been using these for over a year now to take care of obnoxious cooking odors from the downstairs apartment under my bedroom at all hours of the night, and these odour absorbers really do work, others not so much! I have to use three in the corner next to my bed and three under my dresser, it is that bad! I'm so glad I found these!

Q: after I used when I took off cover there was a black gritting coating - no blue color.What is this? Can this be removed to show blue gel below?

A: The black grit that the customer sees is the charcoal bits inside the gel that helps absorb the odours.
