Q: Although the bulb no. 168 matches with position light as per the manual of my 2010 Subaru Forester, I noticed it has 14V, 4.9W, not 12V-5W as indicated in the manual, does it work for me?
4 years agoA: Yes. Your car when running is more close to 13.7v and higher...so this bulb is fine.

7 years agoA: The 168 mini bulb only fits your vehicle’s rear side marker. If you’re looking to replace your front side marker the vehicle requires a 1157A.

Q: Using 4.9W as a 5W bulb replacement (front marker light) Wattage of bulb is 4.9W. But the car owner's manual says 5W bulb. Is it OK to use the 4.9W as a replacement ?
9 years agoA: This bulb, 20-2652 is the 168LL mini, is an acceptable replacement for a 5W front marker bulb, provided this physical size bulb (W5W) is the one that the user manual calls for.
