Safety First Ready To Refinish Wheels

I purchased this sand blaster gun for cleaning up aluminum wheels before painting. Given the price of the media and speed with which I went through it, my advise is to do as much as possible of the blasting in a clean, dry area or large box. The media can be reused multiple times if you keep it clean of foreign material. I ran my regulator on my compressor at 90/95 psi and found it did a great job.

dumps material out even when not in use. not even enough in a hopper of material to remove light rust scale off a frame. guess it's back to a wire brush for me. less mess less money spent on sand.

- A: Yes, but because of the moisture in the compressed air the soda will clog up. An air dryer would help but either way if it’s just for a small job soda works fine. You’ll just have to clean the gun out often.3 years agoHelpful?
