don't buy

dumps material out even when not in use. not even enough in a hopper of material to remove light rust scale off a frame. guess it's back to a wire brush for me. less mess less money spent on sand.

Absolute garbage, my compressor puts out 6CFM@90psi, and it couldn't remove a light amount of surface rust in a small area, all it does it blow the media provided around. Perhaps with an alternative media type it may function better, if so provide that with the kit. I should have read ALL the reviews prior, but I was skeptical and thought the product improved over time. Due to having it opened and used don't count on the store returning it or customer service helping out in any way. Figured I could use it as a door stop, probably too useless for that as well.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can this product be used with soda blasting instead of sand?

A: Yes, but because of the moisture in the compressed air the soda will clog up. An air dryer would help but either way if it’s just for a small job soda works fine. You’ll just have to clean the gun out often.

Q: Can the Mastercraft 2 gallon compressor (#058-7000-2) supply this sandblast gun? Compressor specs are: Running HP of 1/5, and a peak HP of 1/3 Maximum PSI of 100 at 3900 RPM Delivers 1.0 SCFM at 40 PSI and 0.7 SCFM at 90 PSI
