I installed the Ring floodligt cam on the front of my hause and I’m very impressed with its performance. The video quality is clear both during the day and at night, and the motion detection is very accurate.

I’m very happy with the Ring Floodlight Cam. The video quality is clear both day and night, and the floodlights are extremely bright, which really helps with security. Motion detection is accurate and alerts are fast. Setup is very easy and no hassle. It connects very good with the wifi and gives you best experience to view the picture quality you like.

I had this on my last home and it was super easy to connect an control, everything on the app, from recording to moving alerts super cool if I I get system at my new home I would absolutely get this again, best resolution 💪🏼

I just installed this last night and it was super easy to set up and connect to the WiFi. Can’t say anything about durability cuz I’ve only had it a day, so we’ll see! And I love the functionality of it, you can record and talk through it & I love that feature. The lights work perfectly too as soon as I walk near it the light comes on quickly. I’ve had several ring cameras and I like all of them, now I need more of the motion lights for my front yard! Gives me peace of mind knowing I can record if needed, and see my backyard anytime I want!

A: No, these are LED units. They have a life span of 50,000 + hours. You will never need to replace the bulbs in your life time.

A: They are both very good products with different features and benefits. The Arlo system is battery-powered, which makes installation easier, but the battery performance suffers in very cold temperatures (i.e. -20C). The Ring floodlight has a much brighter light for outdoor lighting and it records in 1080p (versus 720p on the Arlo Pro product), so a slightly higher resolution on the Ring product. The Ring product is hard-wired, so it performs better in cold temperatures but it can be a more complicated installation.
