SIMONIZ Platinum™ Polishing Compound can remove the likes of oxidation, scratches, and contaminants without leaving swirl marks on your vehicle. This car polish can renew the paint finish of your vehicle after treatment to mitigate deeper flaws or simply to restore its showroom lustre. The compound is quick, safe, and effective once applied, and is sure to improve the appearance of most damaged or neglected car paint.

Oshawa North is a waste of time!!

I have used this product for years and found it to be an excellent product with great results Too bad I couldn't buy more today when I needed it. I always check the stock level before I go and the website said there were 6 in stock. Get to the store and there were NONE. I've had this happen too often at the Oshawa North location. The stock control is very poor and the website isn't kept up to date. If you try to find an employee to help, be prepared to waste a lot of time and/or pack a lunch. I've never had this happen at the other local locations.

Perfect Prep: SIMONIZ Compound for Ultimate Shine

When revitalizing my 2012 Toyota Venza, I used the SIMONIZ Polishing Compound as the initial step in my detailing process before moving on to the finish compound and finally applying the SIMONIZ Platinum Car Ceramic Sealant. The results were impressive and well worth the effort. Starting with the SIMONIZ Polishing Compound, I found it to be highly effective in preparing the vehicle’s surface. The compound worked effortlessly to address imperfections, swirls, and dull spots, leaving the paint smooth and ready for the next stage. It’s easy to apply, with a smooth consistency that spreads evenly and removes imperfections without excessive effort. Once the polishing was complete, I followed up with a finish compound to refine the surface even further. This step helped to perfect the paint’s clarity and gloss, setting an ideal foundation for the ceramic sealant. The finish compound worked well to enhance the depth of the paint and ensured a mirror-like finish. After completing the polishing and finishing steps, I applied the SIMONIZ Platinum Car Ceramic Sealant. The sealant bonded beautifully to the polished surface, delivering a remarkable shine and adding a protective layer that enhanced both the appearance and durability of the paint. The entire process—polishing, finishing, and sealing—transformed my Venza’s look, giving it a fresh, showroom-quality shine. The combination of these products worked seamlessly together, and the attention to detail in each step was evident in the final result. In summary, the SIMONIZ Polishing Compound was a fantastic start to my detailing routine. Its effectiveness in removing imperfections and prepping the surface set the stage for the finish compound and sealant to deliver outstanding results. For anyone looking to achieve a flawless finish and maintain that high-gloss shine, this product is an essential part of the process.

Q: Can this compound remove 1200-1500 grit sanding marks? How does this compare to Meguiar's M105 in terms of cutting power? I'm looking for something with more cutting power than Meg's Ultimate Compound and is readily available in store.

A: Thanks for your inquiry. The Simoniz Platinum Paint Restoration Compound could remedy your issue. It is comparable to the Meguiar’s M105, but not more abrasive. This is the most abrasive of the Simoniz line. Happy Cleaning!
