New model not as good as the old

Bought two of the original thermacell when they first came out. They worked perfectly and kept the mosquitoes away. This hunting season I bought a new one after the bottom that covers the butane, broke. The new model does not heat up enough and DOES NOT keep mosquitoes away. I got eat up. The next morning I used my old one and it again worked flawlessly minus the bottom cover.

I use them for early fall deer hunting, I am able to sit in my deer blind all day long without a mosquitto, just a reminder, pad need to be replaced every 2 hours

Does not stay lit

I bought this in July 2025, and the little red light letting me know this is lit no longer lights up, and I keep having to push the start button because it doesn't stay lit.

No Glow

IH had several of these mosquito repellent devices over the years. But this time I went and bought another one, but it would not burn. Luckily I have my receipt returned it.

Not very happy

R : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LleWSVKAvnw dans cette vidéo, ils ont dit, 1 cartouche supporte 3 mats, lorsqe 3 mats sont finis, il faut aussi changer la cartouche.... mais ils n'ont pas dit comment il peut garder le MAT chaud....

R : Not a carry while using item. Instructions say you have to keep this stationery and on a flat level surface with the grill facing up. The holster that is sold separately is really only for carrying it to destinations which I believe makes one think you could wear the device while it is on. The grill does get hot so not such a good idea to wear it. Basically the butane cartridge supplies the fuel for an internal burner that heats a grill which in turn heats the pad that has the chemical on/in it. I could not detect a smell when using this.

Q : Hi, having an issue with my thermacell......I press the button to turn on and it only blinks, the light will not stay solid. I have fully charged it as well. Any ideas? Your sold out, I don’t want to return it if it can be fixed! Thanks

R : We are going to assume you mean Radius as the Thermacell Woodlands Camo Mosquito Repeller does not have lights. First, have you confirmed that your Radius is not in lock mode? If the power button is pressed while in lock mode, the light will flash but not stay on. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to activate/deactivate lock mode.
