350 pounds not something you can escape with and it will slow down any unexpected burglar...
Construction acceptable and well put together, now if you are looking for a Vault simply not the place just go and build one.
For what I need quality vs price good choice

Great gun safe !

Was looking for a way to store hunting guns safely. This is it ! Would I put $5,000,000 in it and not worry about it ? Of course not ! This is not what it is supposed to be. Will it keep kids, nosy guests, kids friends and yes, even a burglar away from my guns, YES !
Don't worry about the reviews saying you could break into this within a couple of minutes. Could you break into this if you had the equipment and THE TIME ? Yes of course.
If someone breaks into your home, they will most likely not have the equipment to break into this and they will not have the time either with the house alarm siren going off.
If you're going to put this in a place where an intruder might have plenty of time (like a cottage with no alarm system or neighbors) then it might not be perfect but be prepared to pay 2X or 3X more for something else.
This is perfect for 99% of uses. You can bolt it to the ground and if you put it in a closet, any burglar would have a hard time working with a prybar in there...
As others have stated, not for 24 guns, probably not even 12 (long guns).
Description does say : "Factory installed RealTree Xtra® door". Not the case, the inside door is all black. Nobody is going to see it anyway.
Bought it on sale, love it and would buy again.
Oh yeah, we had to get it up to the second story of the house. This thing is HEAVY ! Took 3 people.
