Ive saved the wheels on alot of adventurers including my own with this kit. Strangers left stranded with no cell service, no functioning spare tire. This kit has everything i need with help of mini air compressor. Its my 3rd kit in 5yrs

Only get the T handle

The handle on the needle is not as user friendly as I would like. I will try the “T” handle next time. The straight handle is extremely hard for me to push into the hole in the tire. Otherwise I am satisfied with the product. I repaired 2 holes in a tire and have used it for a couple hundred Kilometres and the repair is holding air as it should.

Q: does this product provide a permanent repair??

A: I've been working in auto shops for the past 10 years and we do not consider these "rope plugs" to be permanent repairs for tires intended for highway use and we generally replace them whenever we remove a tire from the rim and reinstall it. A permanent repair consists of a combination plug and patch or separate plug then a patch over it. That being said, these rope plug repairs can and do outlast the life of the tire when done properly.
