How long should you jump rope in place of a cardio workout?

If you’re looking for a comprehensive cardiovascular workout to incorporate into your fitness routine, jumping rope is an excellent option. While your individual fitness goals will determine how long to train, it’s recommended to jump for at least 20 minutes 3 – 4 times per week to help build endurance and stamina.

What is 10 minutes of jumping rope equivalent to?

When it comes to building cardiovascular endurance, some studies have shown that 10 minutes of jumping rope is as efficient as 30 minutes of jogging.
