Product Details

LeakSeal® Rubberized Wet Patch is a premium quality, heavily fibered, asphalt-based, roof cement blended with penetrating oils and plasticizing agents that can be applied directly to cold, hot, wet, dry or underwater surfaces. Rubberized Wet Patch can be used to repair and restore flashings and roofing defects such as blisters, cracks, and punctures. It can also be used to adhere new asphalt ply, and modified bitumen membrane flashings or seal vents, shingles, skylights, and chimneys. Rubberized Wet Patch resists sags and spreads very easily in cold conditions.

works well, does what it is intended for. Getting expensive though. Easy to spread when warm but quite a bit harder in cooler weather

Great consistency, dries completely to the touch.

Bought this to repair a 50 year old flat roof that has two small leaks. Cleared all the gravel/dirt out of the way, the spray wash it and when dry, used air to remove fine 'dust'. Great consistency, easy to apply. Used a 5" wide utility paint brush attached to a broom handle. Took about 2 week to use all the 18L (wrapped the brush in a zip lock and it didn't dry out). The two leaks are better but I missed some, I'll buy another bucketful and attack! Excellent, recommended.

Leaky flat roof on mobile home

I have a flat roof on a mobile home. The person who redid the roof prior to me buying got screwed cause the roofer didn't seal the membrane to the drip edge so we had a massive leak destroying out kitchen. Of course every roofing company in town is not available so my wife and I had to do something ourselves. We used a paint can size of this stuff and it stopped the leak instantly. We patched up quite a few areas. It's consistency is like a thicker tar so use a trowel or something similar to spread. I also used it during a heavy rain storm and it performed wonderfully. My only question would be, how long does it last?

I bought 5 pails last Oct, went to patch the roof this week opened first pail an it wasnt liquid it was hard n a liquid as it claims. now i need to look for better product
