Pass on this if you like to iron

I love ironing but regret buying this iron. Problems: adding water is not ergonomic, you need a cup with a little spout, hold iron at the right angle, patiently wait to SLOWLY fill it, otherwise water spills everywhere. Need steam setting to get out wrinkles and the water reservoir doesn't offer much holding, also when fill it can't see the water level. Overall I'm shopping for a new iron, this one is frustratingly designed for frequent use.

Impossible to fill. Doesn't turn on. Not like the original Rowenta iron I have, which still works after 20+ years. Wanted something lighter weight.

Not so Hot of an Iron

I was so disappointed with this iron. It didn’t get ‘hot’ at all. The dial that controls temperature is in an awkward spot too. The light to determine when it has reached temperature is extremely hard to read. Not all of the steam jets produced steam too. As you can see, this iron is not a very good and I returned it.

Q: Just wondering if this Rowenta is not like my Rowenta Steamforce that it does Not steam anymore just after 2 mos. of purchased?

A: I've had mine for about a year and a half. I have a side hobby where I sew everyday and am using my iron about 4-6 hours a day - with steam and it still works. Mind you with any iron, and Rowenta is no exception, if you are putting tap water in an iron you need to de-scale it on a regular basis because 99% of the time its the calcium build up that ruins an iron not a faulty iron.
