Bought this late last summer. I have sciatica and this is the only seat out of our 3 bathrooms, that doesn't hurt after sitting for several minutes. I know, TMI, but could be helpful info for others. Now I am waiting for a round one like this to come on sale.at the same price. The slow close is perfect too.

Worse instructions ever, stay away from this brand. Canadian Tire should be ashamed for selling this. I will be returning this as soon as possible. In the meantime I am going to have to reinstall my old seat. The closing cover seems solid but once the packaging is removed it is flimsy and will easily scratch. I have already spent over 2 hours on what should be 15 minute job and know I have to get my old seat out of the garbage an reinstall it. I had to open it to try and install, I trust they will give me a refund, I have the packaging.

A: Do not understand these poor reviews, easy to install, nice design , did not have to fiddle underneath to add nuts. Instructions not the best but if you have a brain parts can only be assembled one way. AbeL

Q: Shoud seem obvious, but... HOW DO YOU INSTALL THIS. I've seen pretty unclear instructions. But this ranks up there with the worst. I'm looking on line to see if I can find an explanation. I've installed lots of toilet seats. This is not standard.
