Great box,great fit and finish with great features

I was sent this chest and the bottom box to test, was looking at purchasing prior to this as I liked the full length drawer lock, the large top area and the blue color. Now having tested this box, I'm happy to say it is a great box with the pros out weighing the cons. Full of tools(with more to come), even the large bottom drawers, the ball bearing slides are smooth not straining under the weight. The full length lock works better than expected and as my first thoughts of the silver side pieces, I'm not overly fussy about them. They add about 4inces of width to the cabinet and when your short on space as I am, it makes it dificult to place the box. Also the top lid is difficult to open, a handle or indent is needed to make it easier. Other than these two minor issues this is a great box, glad to have it.

Great tool chest

I love this tool chest, the drawers slide really well, they latch closed and are really easy to unlatch. I really like the blue color it really stands out in my workshop and all of my friends are jealous when they see my tool chest. I love how heavy duty the casters are they can take all of the weight and then some (they also lock to prevent the chest from moving). My only problem is that I need to buy more tools to finish filling this big tool chest.

High quality at a great price!

This chest is very solid item! From smooth drawers that latch to heavy duty castors, a nice blue powder coat finish and stainless steel top it has the feel of a professional quality unit. The price however is significantly less than what you would pay for a top quality unit. Nothing but good things to say about mine!

Excellent Tool Box

This is one excellent tool box. I have been an owner of Mastercraft boxes for many years, and this one is by far the best I've had. The fit and finish on this box is outstanding, the drawers are roomy and the top deck has ample room for all my cordless tools. I have friends who have purchased chests from some high end competitors and are looking at my MAXIMUM with awe. This box is great value for the money and a real steal if you happen to snag one on sale. I would highly recommend this chest to any professional or hobby mechanics. #testedbycanadians

Nice looking tool chest

I have an older model tool chest that doesn't have the long drawer in the bottom chest, so I was very happy to receive this to review. The first thing I noticed is that it is solidly built. The drawers slide smoothly even loaded and the locks are a nice touch.
As another reviewer mentioned, the top is a bit hard to open. It would be nice if there was a small indent to put your fingers in to help you lift the top. I am not a fan of the corner protectors as they are a pain to install if you are by yourself. Get someone to help you set the top box on it as you need to lift it over the corners to set it in place.
Overall it is a nice box and held everything my old one held and more.
