Just the right thing for the job!

NOT AS DESCRIBED. I bought this today at Canadian tire after looking at the listing above. Got home to find that the 'universal' slide guide did not fit my track. OK fine, that's on me, I should have done more research and learned that there are different slides out there and measured mine first. got a new track. Went to install the top pivots. First, there was only one in the package - not two as described. Second, instead of a plastic dowel part which would have allowed enough give to squeeze into the holes on my doors, it was entirely made of metal - contrary to what is pictured - and despite the holes definitely being 3/8" there was no way it was going in even after widening and deepening the hole a bit to get it started. I can't bring it back to the store to complain because I ruined the one pivot trying to force it into the hole. Now wondering if I've ruined my door trying to accommodate it. I'm so angry. Instead of a simple (x)$ small kit of new pivots and guide, I've got to buy two MORE pivots, needed a new slide and a third trip to the store. A simple cheap repair has doubled in both complexity and price. Nothing on the packaging tells you how deep your holes should be, how wide the holes should be, what to do. The best it gives you is the names of the components and which pieces go 'up' and which go down. the diagram is helpful if everything starts out perfectly but useless the moment anything is different than expected. "Universal" indeed. Giving 2 stars instead of only 1 because the guide seems to work well enough in the new slide and, though I haven't done anything with the bottom pivot yet, it appears to be as described.
