The reason for only 3 stars, is I had to return the first one I bought, some how the “spring” was missing in 1 of the sections, so be sure to CHECK that there is springs in the long pieces. May save you an extra trip back !

Q: What gap does this seal? 1/2", 3/4", 1-1/2", etc...

A: The kit is designed to seal against a door and frame that has minimal gap but no weather sealing. There is approximately 1/4" (6mm) adjustment for any irregularity in the door or door jamb. The spring loaded has approximately 1/4" (6mm) of travel to allow changes in door/frame movement due tempetature increase or decrease. It really doesn't accomodate for gap.
