This bottle of concentrated water clarifier is compatible with all sanitizers and improves filter efficiency for reducing particles. Regular use prevents cloudy water by gathering suspended contaminants into filterable clumps. Formulated with a neutral pH, this concentrated spa chemical binds with oils and lotions that make water appear hazy. Simply add the recommended dose to your spa per the instructions, and let the Aquarius clarifier go to work for clean, sparkling water.

Aquarius Clear It works great. Within 12 hours the hot tub is crystal clear. I use this every couple days when I drain off 20% of the water prior to adding fresh water to fill it back up.

Q: How long does it take to work. I used it and got some gross clumpy foam form and my water is not clear at all 1hr later.

2 Answers

A: That gunky stuff is all the particles and body oils forming into bits so the filter can clear them. Never have the air on, just the pump running? Or you get those. You may want to get a scum bug (little foam bug that floats) for all that stuff to stick to. Clarifier works fast but it takes a while or the filter to clear it all out. A few hours probably. Rinse your filter afterwards too or it clogs with all those bits.
