Polishers and buffers assist you in maintaining the appearance of your car. Polishers use an abrasive polishing pad to remove or reduce scratches and even out the surface paint layer of the car with the help of a compound. Buffers usually follow the polishing process and use a cloth or foam pad to remove compound residue, reduce polish swirls, and shine the surface of the car.
What are the steps to polishing a car?
Start off with a washed and dried cool surface area on your vehicle. Apply a small amount of polishing compound to the abrasive pad on your automated polisher and begin polishing your worksurface in up-and-down movements.
How to buff my car?
Use a bit of buffing compound to any polished or washed area. Use a foam pad to gently apply the compound on any scratches, dings, or excess polishing compound swirls and use the buffer to correct them.
How to wax my car?
Once again, start off with a washed and dried car. Apply a delicate layer of your chosen wax product to the finishing pad attachment of your power waxer tool and dab any areas of interest. Turn on your power waxer and spread the wax evenly on the surface of your car. Once the wax has dried, wipe away any remaining residue with a separate, clean towel/cloth. Repeat this process until each desired area of your car is waxed. For all your car cleaning needs, check out our selection of Polish Wax & Detailing accessories.
