How to fix cloudy pool water?

How often to run my filter after adding pool water clarifiers?

After adding a pool clarifier, it’s recommended to run your pool’s filtration system continuously for at least 24 to 48 hours.

What is a pool water clarifier used for?

Pool clarifiers are designed to improve the clarity of a pool water by removing small particles that are suspended in water, which can cause the water to appear cloudy. It’s important to note that pool water clarifiers are not a substitute for regular pool cleaning and should be used with other pool chemicals and cleaning methods.

How to use pool water clarifier?

Pool and hot tub clarifiers are easy to use. Simply add the product into the pool or hot tub and let it circulate with the filtration system running for 24 to 48 hours. During this time, you should notice an improvement in water clarity as the clarifier works to gather particles. After the filtration process, you may find larger clumps of particles on the pool floor. Vacuum these up using a pool vacuum and be prepared to clean or backwash your filter.

How much pool clarifier to use (by the gallon)?

The amount of water clarifier needed varies depending on the specific brand of clarifier used and the water’s cloudiness. We recommend checking the instructions on the clarifier before use to determine the right amount for your pool.
