How do I replace the batteries in my golf cart?

Choosing the DIY route when it comes to replacing your golf cart battery? Here are steps for the installing a replacement battery for your cart:

1. Open your battery compartment and examine the setup. Normally, a cart will have a set of six batteries. Ensure that you are wearing protective eye gear and gloves.

2. Disconnect the cables, starting with the negative cables, then the positive cables. 3. Remove the battery brackets and take out the cells out one by one.

4. Check to see if there are any leaks or debris. Gently clean the compartment and the wires. 5. Insert the replacement batteries in their respective slots in the compartment and reconnect the cables.

How much does it cost to replace batteries in a golf cart?
