What is the difference between a booster pack and a charger?

Automotive battery chargers are ideal for maintaining the battery’s charge, while booster packs and jump starters are designed to jump start a car without the help of another car or power source. The main difference is that chargers take longer to feed energy back into the battery, whereas booster packs and jump starters can kick-start your car’s battery with a quick burst of power. Can you use a jump starter as a battery charger?

No, a jump starter can’t charge your vehicle’s battery. The jump starter (also known as booster packs) is designed to give an instant boost of power to get the battery working.
