    Was really impressed how it handled 12-14” logs. Lots of power from the motor, didn’t bind once on approximately 100 cuts. Will require a second battery for a lot of continuous cutting.

    A: I had to call Yardworks to confirm. It is a 56 link chain. So you need the 3/8" .050 16" with 56 chain links

    Q: How do you get the chain tensioner to work? It doesn't seem to make any difference. It only turns maybe 2 rounds in each direction but doesn't alter the chain tension. Am I doing something wrong or is it malfunctioning?

    A: Hello! You will slightly extend the bar before tensioning it with the opposite end of the spanner. It is not mandatory to remove the entire cover; however, doing so is optional. Thank you for choosing YardWorks!-Shay

    A: I believe so. When you purchase, make sure you find out what is a replaceable chain and buy extra. I have not been able to find the right size and the people at CT in west Waterloo don't seem to be able to find out the right one. Right now I am not using as I cannot find the right size chain

    A: Yes. I use a 6 amp and a 5 amp battery both are 48 volts. Great saw to use although the 6 amp battery is heavier.

    Q: Hi. I would like to know if the motor in this 16" yardworks 48v chainsaw, is the same as the motor in the 14" yardworks 48v chainsaw? There isn't any information about the motors in the specifications of either chainsaw. Please give motor spec.s. Thanks
