Product Details

  • WORX Landroid-L is a fully automated cordless robotic lawn mower that can cut up to a 1/2 acre

  • Wi-Fi & App Controlled - Measure your lawn, update your mowing schedule and more

  • Navigates Narrow Paths - Patented AIA technology allows Landroid to navigate narrow passageways too difficult for ordinary robotic mowers

  • Customized Mowing Schedules - Have Landroid mow every day, every other day, it can even recommend an auto schedule based on your yard’s size and conditions

  • Do It All With The Same Battery - Do it all with WORX Power Share, the only cordless tool platform that uses the same battery to power 20V and 40V tools

  • Tackle Obstacles - If Landroid encounters obstacles it will bump them and back away. Also tackle slopes in your yard

Multi functional lawnmower

Not only does it keep my grass at the perfect height but it gives my puppy exercise chasing it. The ACS stops it from running into things. It goes out on its own every day and returns for a recharge when needed. I’m not a gardener at all plus I’m over 70 and find it hard to get around so it keeps my lawn perfect. This has been the best money I spent for taking care of my yard.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Saves my weekends

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Backyard is about 1/5 Acre. Had to use the Landroid's Big Brother to do the first mow. After that, the little guy saves my weekends to do other things. Took care of my backyard while I was gone for 3 weeks. Still need to spend touch up and edge every 2 weeks. Still working out the kinks (fill in divots, adjust boundary wire), but otherwise works like a champ. Quite soothing to sip a lemonade while watching it mow ("sorry honey, can't do it right now, I'm mowing the lawn").

Yes, I recommend this product.

Saves a ton of time - often has errors

I still love my Landroid, and won't go back to mowing myself. However, even after firmware upgrades it continues to run beyond the boundary wire, causing it to stop mid-mow. Additionally, it tends to dig deep holes where it pivots, eventually creating a divot that causes the mower to get stuck/stop. There is a lot of opportunity for improvement, meanwhile, I'll move the boundary wire to avoid these holes.

Yes, I recommend this product.

High cut, great customer service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this guy about 1 month ago, installation was not easy since I decide to bury wires underground. I have 4 zone and here little tips, make boundary wires between zone 5 to 7 cm and not 15cm or landroid will slide to the other zone. You need to keep fine-tune boundary wires to reach a perfect no-stuck issue. Now for software update, you can rollback if you have a problem after the update, they let you do that witch is awesome, just log in to your landroid account and choose the software you like and save it on USB then plug it into your robot.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: How long is the cable for the charger...my outlet is about 15 ft away from the lawn.

Q: I have curves instead of 90 degree turns...if I put lots of pins in the wire to guide it, will it follow the 2 curves the first of which is 1 ft radius and the other an 18 in. radus?

  • A: Yes it will follow the curves. In fact, we suggest rounded corners instead of sharp angles for turns. Please call our dedicated Landroid Support line at 800-727-6260 if you have further questions or concerns.

Q: For a larger yard (3/4 acre), can you lay the boundary wire down, let the landroid mow within the boundary on one day; then move the boundary wire to another area, pick up the landroid and move it to the second boundary area and let it mow on another day?

Please call our dedicated Landroid Support line at 800-727-6260 if you have further questions or concerns.

Q: I have a ~26 inch between wires (34 inch total width) on my side yard that that I want to make sure that the Landroid can navigate through. Am I going to be ok... I could not find this info in the specs. I am clearly very interested in the product.

  • A: Thank you for your question. Squid Mower is correct it is recommended to have more distance between the wires particularly if there is a long corridor to traverse. The opening for a gate is usually not a problem but the more distance between the wires the better since there is the possibility that the signal from the wires can interfere with each other. I have done some installations similar to yours without issue.

Q: How steep of an incline can the mower handle?  Can it be programmed to run sideways on a hill rather than up and down?

  • A: The Landroid does handle a 35% or 20degree slope. To answer the rest of your question, the Landroid works on an algorithm that seems random. One cannot choose the direction it operates so sometimes it will run with the slope and sometimes it will be across the slope.

Q: How does it handle dog poop?

  • A: Hello. Unfortunately, like any lawn mower, the Landroid will run over dog poop. The good news is that the Landroid’s offset 3-blade cutting system will handle poo with ease and turn it into some fresh fertilizer for your lawn. So, silver lining.

Q: Can I run two Landroids at the same time using one charging station?  Area to be cut is the same area set up to effectively run only one Landroid.

  • A: Hello there! No. You can only run one Landroid at a time. Both Landroids may run, but if one goes to the charge station the other one will stop mowing. We only recommend one Landroid per mowing area

Q: I received an email that the WR150 is back in stock. This is good news, but I want to purchase the WR155 and it is still out of stock. Why making more of the older model (WR150) and not the newer WR155?

Q: I currently own a Landroid L WR150 and I love this mower, but I have one issue. My backyard is fenced in, while the front yard is not. Is there any workable way to allow the Landroid to pass through the fence other than leaving the gate open?

Originally posted on worx.com

  • A: Hi! The Landroid must have a gate or a path to move through the second cutting area. For Landroid related service and questions please call 1-800-727-6260. Thank you!

Q: Could this mower run without setting up boundary wire and install docking station outside, if we charge battery in garage and set up some physical boundary such as a line of pots or stones to keep it in certain areas?

Originally posted on worx.com

  • A: Hello, that is a great question. Installation of a boundary wire is required before using your Landroid. The boundary wire and lawn stakes are all included with the Landroid. We also offer customer care and support for installation questions. Landroid handles large obstacles by bumping into them and turning around. The Anti-Collision System (ACS) accessory is available as an add-on to help your Landroid sense obstacles via ultrasonic detection and navigate around them instead of running over or bumping into them. Please call our Solution Center Team at 866-354-9679 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST and on Saturday from 8 am until 4 pm EST for any additional questions. We'd be more than happy to assist you. Thank you for choosing WORX!
