This is a basic pot set. The handles are nice, but the smaller pot can be hard to remove after placing the small pot in the big pot. Not a hardship, but can be a trick to get out. The tea kettle is 'cute'. I have not used the low brim pan, as I have a proper fry pan. Things seem to burn in it, but might need more cooking practice. I have been running student programs and have 5 of these pot systems. I liked the first enough to purchase a the others.

A: The handles are the same metal that the rest of the cookware is made of, but they have rubber on top for comfort.

Q: Is the whole set stackable/nesting? I'm assuming not since no photos show that?

A: Yes, the whole set is nesting. The size is of the biggest saucepan which everything fits in, plus the frying pan that goes underneath. All the handles fold up. It's really quite compact and includes a drawstring bag and cleaning cloth.

Q: I just purchased this today. Seems really great, but when I unpacked it at home I noticed that in the frying pan the handles slope slightly downward, so if it sits on a flat counter, it pushes one side if the pan upwards. Is this normal?

A: Hi Barbara, The handles when unfolded should be more-or-less horizontal, and not out of alignment so the handles push one side of the pan up.This would make the pan slope when on a stove and hard to pick up. So "no - not normal" to answer your question. Suggest you return for an exchange.
