Connection with party

I have had this phone for about four years.
When talking to another person, the contact with this person occasionally quits.
I thought the person using a cell phone was the problem.
The phone is on new batteries.
Lately I was on with another party and contact was lost after an hour. I shut off phone and then reconnected. The problem persisted, till I switched to another phone.
I do not know what is causing problem., as I rarely use phone, except lately.
I have the digital answering system deck 6.0 model.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Too much static, compared to vetch, could not make out what caller were saying during a call, would phase in and out. Very poor. This is after one week.
Took it back to CTire. Bought a Panasonic

Battery life on these is great which I can't say for every phone before. No interference either. Only issue is the time display seems to change on it's own on all the handsets sometimes. No idea why.

When I purchased my "Four Handset Uniden Package" I basically knew what to expect because I have bought Uniden in the past. For the price (provided they're on sale) they're a pretty good package. Hey, for $15 a phone when you buy four, what do you expect. Rocket science. They work, the battery life is adequate, the phones are about a simplistic as you'll ever get. Most people should be able to program anything they want to do even without their manual. Their range I find is EXCELLENT. If you position your main unit properly, in my case I can go walk my cats out in the backyard bring the phone with me and always get my calls even up to a Block away.
As I said earlier This isn't my first set of Uniden phones, and unless something drastically changes, it probably won't be my last. To sum it up , THEY DO THE JOB!

A: You can access your system from a handset whenever the phone is in standby. During remote operation, the phone beeps to let you know it's waiting for your next command.You can press the number key next to the commands instead of scrolling through them. 1. Press MESSAGES/MUTE to start remote operation mode. 2. Press MENU/SELECT to choose the displayed option. 3.Press END to exit remote operation mode.

A: Any new messages must be either listened to all the way to the end, or deleted. As long as there is a message hat has not been listened to completely, the red light will blink.

A: 1. From the handset, choose “menu” 2. From the menu, choose “answering set-up” 3. From answering set-up choose “ring time” 4. From ring time choose either “2, 4 or 6 rings”

A: We would suggest unplugging the answering machine for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in. Sometimes this can reset a malfunctioning chip.
