Q: I have a container that is similar (not sure if it's the same manufacturer). I found that the PP designation (in triangle) is blank. Does a "blank" mean anything?

A: The “PP” designation refers to the material of the product, which is Polypropylene. The Triangle should indicate the recycling symbol and number associated with the material. If the triangle is accidentally blank, but indicates the material is “PP”, it is made from Polypropylene which is recycling symbol #5.
