Terrible lid design

I have had this garbage can for 6 montjs. Loved it until today when the lid completely stopped working. My husband went to change the battery and a small screw fell out. He looked and realized it's the only screw that holds a tiny piece that makes the lid go up and down. Upon closer inspection the screw completely broke off and there is no way to replace it. So 140 dollar garbage can take out by one small screw.

Motion sensor garbage can

Nice design, but the batteries do not last, sometimes the lid stays up and doesn't go down. Even with fresh batteries it will work once or twice then totally stop. The stain steel bottom is a magnet for dirt, dust etc and difficult to keep shiny and clean. The capacity is a nice big size. Do not recommend this garbage can.

Automatic lid stopped working after 6 months

I bought this garbage in March and by August the automatic sensor lid stopped working. Since then I have been detailing with customer service to try to get them to honour their warranty and replace the lid, but they continue to drag out the process insisting that the “stickers” under the bottom of the lid aren’t the right ones to tell them which model I bought. (It is now November.) It’s great to have a warranty but it needs to be honoured

No, I do not recommend this product.

Poor Customer Service

Had bin for almost two years when the lid stopped functioning. Reached out to the company and they will not sell me a replacement lid. Poor build quality and customer service for the price. Would recommend avoiding this product.

Q: The batteries required says d batteries 3 volt. Can I use 1,50 volt d batteries.
