Super Fun Idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is a bug catcher extraordinaire. At 7, I can say he has been bug catching for a solid 6 years. In these six years, I have lost hundreds of food storage containers to his hobby. When I saw the bug hotel, I jumped on it. He loves it! It is such a fun toy.

He started taking interest in Bugs and I though this toy would be perfect for him. I was right, he adore this toy. Comes with easy-grab tweezers that double as a magnifier. This critter catching kit is sized perfectly for tiny fingers.. The little paradise hotel covered in transparent dome looks super cute and well made with little details. Love the ventilated lid with handle to carry around easily. This toys is perfect for pretend play. We can't wait to go out and hunt for little bugs.

Great for a variety of bugs!

We were able to catch and house a variety of different bugs in here- fireflies, lady bugs, a Caterpillar and a few flies. The ventilation area on top was a great size, and the holes did not let any of the bugs escape. It is hard to get adult hands in and out of the opening, but a child's hands (tested up to age 9) easily fit in and out. The beach theme inside of the bug hotel was very much enjoyed by my children. The "pinchers" hang nicely on their hook and the magnifying glass works great and really does help to see the intricate parts of an insect. This is great for budding scientist or kids who enjoy bugs. Not recommended for spiders due to their web building and difficulty cleaning.

Hotel Buggy!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fun way for kids to learn about bugs & crawly creatures. 1st I love the style of the bug hotel, beach island front with the umbrella, pale, tree & chair. My son was over joyed to receive this and want to put he said 100 critters lol. It's very easy to use and very well made. The top twist off and makes it easy to put items in, the little holes are perfect for ventilation and the handle is perfect for carrying. Love that the Pinchers are tweezers have a magnifying glass to use, it's a great way to view the critter up close. We just love it. It's great for learning, observing and responsibilities.
