You made a special on Thompson water seal for $34.93 but the product was out of stock at most of the stores Alexandria, 2 in inventory but no stock found 2 gallons in Casselman (very old stock, one gallon had rust on some parts of the lid) I already bought 12 gallons but need two more of the solid and informed discontinued? Your special is to check the need

Q: I have a deck that is 5yrs old. I previously used a waterbased stain on it. I want to restain it again using your oil based stain. Is there any special prep that I need to do first since it is oil based? I will be sanding it but anything else?

A: No, once you remove any peeling stain and do a through cleaning the new stain is ready to apply. I clean snow and ice off my deck and it performed great, no problems this spring

A: Thank you for your question about our Deck & House Stain product. Our products can be applied on the exterior of log cabins, provided the wood is porous and dry. However, you may have to reapply our product more frequently than a product that is specialized for log cabins. Sincerely, L.T., Digital Care Team

Q: What is the drying time for this product?

Q: Has anyone ever collected on the warranty of these products , 5 yr. warranty on decks 15yr on fencing , My own experience has been it lasts about 1yr 2 if you stretch it on a deck surface.

Q: How many sq.feet does a gallon cover?

A: This is 1 coat coverage waterproofing stain. Rough sawn lumber is approx 100-150 sq ft/gal. Smooth wood is approx 250-300 Per/ gal. This is a guide, found on our Deck and House label. This can vary depending on the porosity of the wood.
