Très bon détecteur.

J'ai reçu ce détecteur en cadeau en juillet dernier et je suis très satisfaite car tous les commentaires que j'ai lus sont positifs. Je suis novice dans ce hobby mais j'aime beaucoup, il faut que j'apprenne à mieux connaître l'instrument afin d'en retirer le maximum de ses capacités. Très facile à faire fonctionner et de plus il est très léger.

Excellent Metal Detector

Purchased this metal detector on sale. Only have had the opportunity to learn how to use the detector. Found the instructions easy to understand, the different buttons on the detector are large enough to read comfortably. Since it is winter I have not had the opportunity to use it outside very much, but come spring/summer I am looking forward to using the detector.

heavy after a while

I got this on sale., they have sales usually just before Christmas. I bought this for me 13 year old son and he said it gets quite heavy after a while. A little complex also to figure out.., really need to read the manual.

J'ai effectuer cet achat le 10 septembre 2015 très léger, très sophistiqué,très très bien fabriquer,je conseille à tous déjà des très belles découvertes,les couleurs sont sublimes, bien agreable d utiliser cet appareil vous ne serais pas déçu suivez bien les indications si vous êtes nocives et vous serez agréablement surpris de son grand rendement. J'ai bien hâte au printemps pour recommancez ma course aux trésors et surtout avec 2 articles suplementaires inclus merci à vous xxxxxx

Q: Can the coil and shaft on this be submerged in water? I wish to use this unit to search on beaches and the like, but the product description does not specify the unit's tolerable operating conditions.

A: The search coil and stem are waterproof, but the control box is not.

Q: The model currently sold is the old version. When will you have the new version? The currently sold model has a plug-in connector for the coil. Teknetics has released a while ago a newer version, where the coil is connected with a screw in type of connector. When will you have the new version? See picture for the new connector

Q: Can it be used in or around salt water.

A: The Teknetics Delta will have problems with the mineralization caused by salt, so it is not recommended for saltwater treasure hunting. For saltwater treasure hunting, we recommend using a metal detector with a manual ground balancing function, such as the Discovery 3300. The Tekentics Delta will work very well in areas around saltwater, such as dry sandy beaches, but not in the saltwater.
