Excellent Traction, Barely XL

I bought these today with the noble goal of walking 4 km a day. Credit where it’s due: the traction was excellent. I’d seen other reviews mention a bit of wobble, and while I get what they mean, I never felt unstable—more “alert” than “alarmed.”
The reason for the 3-star rating is sizing. I ordered the XL, and they just squeeze onto my Salomon hiking sneakers (men’s size 11). The strap—exactly as other reviewers warned—is a lost cause. It’s far too short to be usable unless you’re wearing something closer to a men’s 7 or 8.
Because the fit is so tight, I’m now mildly concerned about durability and long-term use. Time will tell whether this was designed with quality and customers in mind… or quantity and corporate profit. Either way, I’ll find out after a few more kilometres.

For grip these worked okay. The velcro strap is short enough that it's pretty much useless with winter boots.

Size was difficult to determine as only shows sm m L and xl. I wear a size 11 and chose xl and barely fit! The Velcro is also too short
