This bread box is really small. While it is quite sturdy, the lids won't shut! I had to go find a different one.

My apt has very limited kitchen counter space. I have literally been looking for a few years but was unable to find one the right size & with features I needed. This little number is perfect! The unit opens from the top or front plus the front door can easily pop out to use as a cutting board! I like the flat top, so I can put items on top, napkins, S&P, etc. The product has lots of space inside for 1 or two loaves of bread, muffins or butter, etc. I really like the look of the breadbox too - clean lines, good quality bamboo & easy clean plastic. There's small rubber feet underneath to help keep it from sliding around or scratching your countertop.

Is it bigger than a Bread Box?

Nice little bread box, I was hoping for something bigger but when/ if they go on sale i will buy a second one and stack it on top of this one.
The very cool thing is you don't have to get in from the front, the top is also hinged! So if the counter is covered with sandwich stuff you can drop the loaf in from the top!
The Built in Cutting Board is actually the front door of the box, it lifts out.
It doesn't smell toxic at all, just like varnished wood

Keeps bread safe

We like this because our cat likes to eat the the plastic on the bread packages, and this keeps the bread safe so that the cat can't do that. It looks nice on the counter also and keeps the bread fresher than if left on the counter.
