Q: RE the 4411 and 4432 - are they both free arm machines? thank you
3 years agoA: singer 4432 does have a free arm machine. The only thing I don't like is the reverse doesn't lock down,when you are using it or a least mine doesn't. So I am trying to hold it in down and sew. My old singer reverse did lock down in place.

3 years agoA: I have sewn denim jeans with this machine and have not experienced any problems yet. I have not tried to see what the maximum layers would be before failure but normal repairs and patching seem to work OK.

Q: Hi I have purchased a singer 4432 one day ago which I fear to start using it cause I don't know if it need's any sewing lubricant before using or its not needed? There is no mentions about lubricant in any of the instructions or manual.
4 years agoA: No lubricant is needed, if you’re using regularly (20+ hours/week) get it serviced annually.

Q: Is there a walking foot option for light weight leather, so it doesn't stretch or pucker?
2 years agoA: For sewing on leather we recommend a 'roller' foot instead of a walking foot. Remember to use a leather point needle also.
