Junk; force you to pay for cloud service

No option to insert memory card and recently they force you to subscribe to their expensive cloud service. They use to have free 24hour playback but not anymore! Time to recycle this camera!

This is the first security camera I have ever used

I purchased this camera over a year ago and was thrilled to know my home would be safe
I have set on human detection and to give me notifications; I only give it a 3 star because it does not detect all the human action and very rarely notifies me. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, rebooted it with no luck. I am now looking for one for my back yard and well I am concerned what I should purchase

The Snap LED was difficult to set up. Using the supplied set up socket proved fruitless. I discarded this and used a lamp socket instead. The software was easy to download and start,however, I was getting a red warning in Chinese that turned out to be using the % key in my password. After this was finally rectified, the rest of the set up went quickly. Moving the LED floodlight to the working position on the building was easy, however, even though we have a good wifi signal the camera would not communicate with the cell phone app. It was not clear before purchase that the light would be on 24/7 as power is needed for the camera to work. In conclusion, the idea is a good one, but the execution is wanting.

Product is ok only if you want to waist your money. You have to pay for the services after your first month and then the problems begin. If you want a second one it is another plan that you have to pay for.

Good concept but needs tweaking

This is super easy to install and set up, and works as a camera very well. I like that I can check it on my phone from anywhere and the motion detection is a nice feature in theory. The problem is that you also need to buy a subscription plan to get many features such as replay for more than the last 24 hours, and most of the time the motion detection is a moth attracted to the light or changes in shadows when the sun moves or the wind blows the trees. They also keep changing the subscription plans without notifying me so I need to keep going into settings and changing it back after I've had incidents happen like my gas being siphoned but there's now no record of it on the camera and it's too late. Another con is that you can't position it, it just points straight down. It would be better if it had a swivel mount so it could be angled to point to different areas. The picture and sound is excellent, and it's not a bad unit, especially for the price.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: I use it inside only. It is not made for the outdoors. I have the $0 subscription which gives me a controllable light, microphone to communicate and 24hr. History playback. It is accessible 24/7 on my smartphone and i can see what is happening in real-time

A: This lightbulb can be programmed with lighting schedules to turn on/off at scheduled times by using the Sengled Home app.

A: The lifetime of the bulb is 25,000 hours. If used 3 hours/day this will last over 22 years. When the bulb burns out the user will need to buy a new Snap.

A: The snap can used with a regular motion sensing housing but only with the motion sensing deactivated. The snap requires constant power to operate. The snap has night vision.
