A really hot kettle!

I really enjoy how quickly the water boils up. Another feature I really appreciate is the ability to set my required temperature. An overall great kettle. Not made in Canada, unfortunately, but the company is Canadian!

Hello Meee, Salton temperature control kettle model JK2112 has three control buttons: KEEP WARM, TEMPERATURE, and POWER. Press the power button once to turn the kettle on. For a complete understanding of how this digital kettle works, be sure to read the instruction booklet. Additionally, if there are mineral deposits inside the kettle, make sure to descale it periodically. Neglecting to descale can lead to longer boil times than usual.

Have to Replace

After using this kettle for 6 months, I've decided to replace it. It's infuriating to use without an indicator that the kettle has been turned on. I usually watch the kettle to see if the displayed temperature is increasing to determine if in fact it's actually turned on.

Great for green tea! It is easily adjustable to 80° C and it does retain the memory of the previous setting. Does throw heat like a kettle on the stove. Perfect for the hot summer.
