1.moisture test with a piece of plastic and continued to cleaning and sweeping. The included etching product was great, ours was a new pour. I waited over 24 hours for the surface to be dry. Consider the use of a squeegee to help. I had to close my garage door so no dust and leaves blew in, I did not consider a dehumidifier but consider it if your humidity is high. IF YOU DONT DO THE PREPARATION WORK, DONT USE THIS PRODUCT, IT WILL COME OFF WITH 1-3 YEARS. FURTHERMORE DONT DRIVE ON THIS FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 DAYS, I LEFT IT FOR A WEEK. 2.Used a brush for the edge and a double roller for the rest, the double size really cut down the application time. 4x4 patches were recommended and its best to follow that recommendation to easier to sprinkle the colored flakes. I painted and my wife assisted by sprinkling the flakes on the 4x4 areas. The paint was done with a thick nap, its highly recommended otherwise your paint may be applied too thin. She liked the look of less flakes and varied in distribution, reminded her of veins in granite. Looks great and its easier to do. We had a few flakes left over in our 2.5 garage. When painting, we left the garage door open and put down cardboard so our feet had a way out. Painters tape was used at the garage entry so we had a clean line. We did not buy the special shoes. We planned instead. 3. We used the optional rust-oleum clear coat a day later. The gloss look made it look great and in addition we used the optional anti slip. The anti slip sank to the bottom of our tray so it didn't apply that well. I do wonder if a better technique for the anti slip will come forward. 4. Overall our garage and shop floor has stood up amazing. We use our garage as a shop and we live in a cold climate, salt debris, sand and melting snow. We have heated garage floors and a central drain. If you do it right, this product is amazing. If you do it wrong and don't prep, just don't do it.

Mixed the bags as instructed. felt some lumpy spots but thought they all dissipated. Rolled on and found some spots lumpy and didn't dry like the rest. 5 days and those spots still tacky. Going to have to try to strip off and put something else on.

Great if your garage floor is in perfect condition. My floor is pitted and cracks. Needed 2 1-2 extra cans. Poured all in one bucket for colour consistency. Plenty of flakes for 2 car garage I thought. Acid wash worked great. Still need clear coat kit.

I bought two kits a month ago one from a competitor and one from Canadian Tire. The one from the competitor worked like a charm, and I was able to half my floor. The one from Canadian Tire when applied to the floor did not dry in 3 weeks! The contractor that applied the flooring said the package contents looked like they had expired, as it was gummy and had chunks! Rust-Oleum if you are reading this, I would like a credit for this!
