Poor screen resolution

I purchased this tablet for my 8 year old son to get into Android and out of the kid tablets and I'm going to have to return it due to screen clarity. It is real cloudy on my opinion with very hazy edges to the icons. I thought 1024x600 resolution would be more than enough for a young child but the rinky dinky devices he has been using up until now have had better screens.

No, I do not recommend this product.
