Q: I have this since 2021 Oct and it has discolored inside the bottom of the pot after a couple of use, how do I fix this and maintain the pot?

A: It is quite normal for stainless steel to discolour due to exposure to high heat. This effect is referred to as “heat tint”. One way to limit the potential of discolouration though is to use low-medium heat, except when high is required (ie boiling liquids). Aside from this though, there are specific stainless steel cookware cleaning products available that can help reverse the appearance of heat tint. Barkeeper’s Friend is one good option that can help to restore the shine of stainless steel.
