I like these stackable storage containers as I can use them for serving as well. Formerly, they came with red lids which cracked way too soon. I have found that the blue lids last much better so I am happy they are on sale.

We love these bowls and continue to buy them. However one was chipped and I never saw it until I was unpacking it at home. A word to the wise. If it's glass open them up at the store and check them there.

Q: What is the difference between the Anchor Hocking blue lid container and the red lid container?

A: The price. I don't know why but the red ones often go on sale but we wanted the blue ones. So we waited over a year for them to go on sale. Didn’t happen so we finally paid full price. I have no idea why they would only put red ones on sale and not the blue ones.

Q: How to obtain warranty on this product? Is the receipt needed? I purchased this set less than one year ago, and the 7 cup bowl has chipped in several places. Large chips. How does the warranty work if I have misplaced/discarded my receipt?
