Not bad for a cheaper fly rod. Heavy which can become bothersome when u spend a long period fishing. Lot of chatter when casting; line noise passing through eyelets

Great rod, junk reel. Decent for the price.

I bought this rod over a year ago as a starter rod, expecting it to break soon after, and it has served me well since! The reel is junk however. The reel broke almost immediately. Recommended purely for the rods sake. Great for starting out as long as you have room in your budget for a spare reel.
