Coleman double sleeping bag

It is perfect, comfortable, spacious for two people and keeps you very warm at bedtime on those cold nights. I love it. It is better than a thousand sheets.

Great sleeping bag

Just purchased for a 10 day camping trip. Large, soft and comfortable. You do need to be adept at rolling sleeping bags to get it back into the provided bag even after removing the extra stitched piece it comes with to allow for the bag to open wider. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Okay so far.

I haven't used it yet but took it out of the bag to check it out. First thing, it STINKS, like cheap fishy dye and plastic. I don't know if I have to go to the laundromat or air it out but it gave me a headache. I also really struggled to get the most of it back into the bag. Hopefully the last part gets better with use.

A: Hello there! Thank you for contacting us to inquire about the removable fleece liner of the Coleman® Granite Peak Insulated Fleece Lined Double Sleeping Bag w/ Compression Sack, 4°C to 15°C. The fleece liner cannot be removed for washing. The sleeping bag, however, is machine washable.

Q: We have enjoyed this sleeping bag so much since we got it back in april....BUT...Im wondering for cleaning instructions ....Can it be dry cleaned it does not mention that anywhere....so....usually it can be dry cleaned as well, right?

A: Care and Cleaning of Coleman® Sleeping Bags Proper care of your sleeping bag will keep it looking better and lasting longer. Follow these simple suggestions to care for your Coleman® sleeping bag during the years to come. Dry cleaning is NOT recommended. Sleeping Bag Washing Instructions -Use only oversized commercial front loading washing machine with a rotating drum action - DO NOT use top loading agitator style machines. -Wash warm, rinse cold on gentle cycle using ¼ mild detergent. -Use a fabric softener in wash. (Do not use detergents with bleach.) -Tumble dry at low temperature in oversized commercial dryer. -Alternate method: hand wash in bathtub, follow instructions as in #2. -Bag must be thoroughly dry before being stored.

Q: is this sleeping bag machine washable or dry clean only Interested in a machine washable large either double/queen sized or 2 compatible sleeping bags to zip together from Coleman or Woods ( flannel lined light weight ) My family is a camping family and has always had good quality products from these 2 companies...looking to replace our current ones

Q: How do you roll up the Coleman Granite Peak Double Sleeping Bag, 4°C to 15°C? I just purchased this and cannot figure out how to roll it up.

A: Hello! Thank you for your question. Please be advised that the wrap-and-roll flap is approximately ½ the width of the bag. So you can fold the bag in half. Hook halves together with loops and toggles if the bag has them. Roll the bag from the foot to the head as tightly as possible. Wrap the Wrap n Roll flap around the bag and pull the drawstrings on the sides of the flap to tighten the flap around the bag.

A: Hello! Thank you for your question. Please be advised that if a sleeping bag is bought at same time they can be zipped together. Also, same size bags and rectangular style (NOT Mummy Bags). When zipping to bags together, we recommend to use sleeping bags without a pillow cuff, simply because if you zip two of the ""pillow-cuff-style"" bags together, on one side of the now double wide bag, the ""pillow cuff"" will be on top, which will not make this a very comfortable solution for at least one out of two people. We recommend any of our bags where the top opening is even level on both sides. Please be sure to order two of the same size & style bags. Zip together process: Open both bags completely. Both zipper sliders must be pulled completely down the zipper coils. The starter or pin side of the coil must be completely removed from the zipper sliders. Place the bags one on top of the other, with the liner sides facing one another (liners inside, shells outside). Insert the starter or pin from one of the zipper coils into the sliders on the opposite bag. The starter or pin must be inserted completely into both sliders (the one with the Zip Plow and the one without the Zip Plow) Pull the slider and zip the bags closed. For a mummy bag, you must have one right hand zipping bag and one left hand zipping bag. They must be placed side-by-side, not one on top of the other to be zipped together.
